Raise the question - if you can't quite figure out what the question is, begin with this one: What am I worrying about?
Repeat the question - Whenever it occurs to you, repeat the question to yourself. Don't expect an answer. Be prepared to ask the question forever. Try tying your recollection of the question to some physical action, such as getting up, sitting down, or walking.
Follow the question - Follow the question where it leads you. If your question changes, or if another question arises at its heels, go with that one.
Settle the question - If the practice of raising the question suggests an answer, you will be ready to go on to the next question, the next challenge. Even if it doesn't, one question leads to the next. The questioning spirit continues.
