"I've had enough of lies!" I say to her.
"But, dear, I wasn't lying!" She says, hopelessly trying to defend herself.
"Just...get out," I say, pointing to the door.
"Dear, I've had my share of mistakes, but can't you forgive me?" She says.
I stood there, in solemn silence.
"I love you, and that's all that matters. I've gotten sick of that man, anyway. He was rather rotten to my taste," she says, giving me a wry smile.
"I still love you, but what you did can't be--," I say, before she cuts me off.
"But, I feel regret for what I did. I've hurt you, my love!" She says.
The words hang in the air, almost visible.
"Good bye, dear," I say, walking away, wiping away the memories.
