Vruchtvlees is a creative design studio based in The Hague (Netherlands). The studio was established by Roman Stikkelorum, Michael Danker and Rindor Golverdingen in 2007. Vruchtvlees is the meat of the fruit, and symbolizes the pulp that nurtures the seeds, allowing them to grow. The studio’s mission is to create beautiful concepts and essential design for a broad range of clients from all over the world.
This filter is based on the beautiful and mysterious birds of paradise. In the absence of natural enemies, the species could be extremely selective in choosing their sexual partner. In order to make an impression on the other gender, the male birds would show off with the highly elongated and elaborate feathers extending from the beak, wings, tail or head.
